Updates Updates Updates....

Just when i thought i got the hang of blogging again, i got lazy and slacked again... haha... Oh well, so a quick update...
Chappy is 37 weeks as of tuesday... doc says she's ready to meet the world now... but we're hoping to keep her in as long as possible cuz it would mean that a) i have a longer break and have my maternity would be longer as well... b) she would have lesser chance of jaundice :)
That aside, she's currently weighing abt 3 kg... so longer inside me, she will be heavier and she would be easier to carry later. ;) But being so big, i am a little worried about her coming out... oh well... we'll see..
Managed to get a massage lady to come for 10 days.... $50 a session... highly recommended by one of the nurses from my gyn clinic... she would massage me and massage and bathe my girl as well... Which seems good. Esp when i don't have any confinement lady. So it would help me settle that part... Sigh.. but that's a good $500 for 10 days... Oh well... no choice... if there's any consolation, $50 is the market rate and normally it's without baby bath and massage. So i guess i should be happy.
Looked for a maid today... With daniel... Wow nowadays maids are damn expensive and also very demanding... despite the horror stories of maids... but thinking of value of money... Losing my privacy though.. but no choice... Currently having a part timer will cost me $320 per month... that's only 2x a week with 8 hrs.... If i engage this maid, it will cost me $520... Oh well, Okies... it can be cheaper like $470.... but this maid i saw has 8 years of experience in singapore... which means cooking and looking after infants would be of no problem for her. And communication is not a problem.. since she's familiar with the surroundings.. :D
Other than that... baby's room is done... just worried i might have forgotten some stuff... Oh well, besides that, everything is going well... just keeping fingers crossed and waiting for her arrival.. :D
